The Noble Gases was
begun in late 2004, and finished in early 2005. The
gases are: Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, and Radon. Each
song fades out using just a few lines, as one or two lines
from the next song fade in. This creates a condition
where all pieces blend together seamlessly. There is a
seventh title track, 'The Noble Gases', which uses all of
the musical lines from the other pieces to create a single
super-piece.
The Noble Gases will be released
in March of 2006 -- oops, it is now due by March of
2008.
Chris Halsey, the man who
re-invented my exquisite 'viola clef' logo, also did the cover artwork
for The Noble Gases.
