A note for all visitors about my absence: In August of 2006, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. By September, I was under the knife at University USC Hospital. I was back home by October 1st. I am now cancer free. I am one of the lucky ones. The cancer was found while it was still benign. It is now January, 2007 and while I am still recovering I have been told not to worry. I would like to thank all who contacted me and wished me a speedy recovery. Your kindness gave me strength. This all happened so fast, that I am only now coming to grips with the concept of being a cancer survivor. It is at times very emotional. The bottom line? I'm glad to be here, alive, and able to make music. ...and another note: It is now late September of 2007. It has taken me a long time to get my strength back. The Systems Theory disk: Codetalkers is back on track. I am working on the artwork for my third CD, The Noble Gases, and I am practicing my instruments again. Once again, I thank my friends, family, bandmates, and supporters for giving me strength. ... and now it is January of 2008. The artwork for the third CD is done, and I am undertaking new projects. Some collaborations have fallen by the wayside, and new ones are forming. It is good to be working. Greg Amov
